Dot NAME Domain Names

Introduced in 2001, the Dot NAME universal top-level domain is the sole TLD supposed to be for personal websites only. These domains can be personal or fictional names, aliases and/or other designations people are famous by. At first, solely third-level registrations were possible, so if you planned to secure john.doe.name, you were required to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were loosened and 2nd-level registrations were also allowed. Existing third-level names remained functional.

You will have the opportunity to update the WHOIS information, to park your domain, to edit Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an active domain to our company if you obtain its EPP transfer authorization code from the current registrar and we will renew it when the transfer has been completed.
